Snow Pictures

It snowed 2003/02/07. Here's some pictures I grabbed.

Cherry tree just off my back porch. Was supposed to be dwarf, but out grew it.

Same as above, longer view.
Another view of my "dwarf" apple tree in back.
Blue spruce in front. Looking mostly east from my upper front deck.
Across the street toward the south east.
Toward the SW street corner. Not much here, but it's another one I took.
Taxus tree near my porch.
Across the street due west. Pretty in my neighbor's yard too. They blasted the street to put in that new red fire plug. Stunted tree on left got zapped by lightning a couple of years ago. Still growing.
I was admonished recently to not harm myself shoveling snow. Well, I don't shovel it! This is my Garden Way roto-tiller that I bought 25 years ago under the delusion I could grow my own veggies. I ordered the 3' blade with it. It does a great job pushing the snow aside. Snow here was 7" deep. Update: I now own a snow blower. Much better. See 2005/01/23
All done! Later that day the snow stopped and the sun almost came out. Residual snow melted.
Meanwhile, what were my cats doing? Looking at the snow out the kitchen window.Very unusual for them to cluster like this. They are perched on a real cat perch. By the time I got my camera flash going they were gone.
